What is the best way to pull money for bathroom renovation?

By admin · October 31, 2011 · Filed in bathroom renovation

I bought my home in October of 2009 and would like to renovate my bathroom. What would be the best option for me? Try for a refinance or home equity loan? I purchased the home for about $5,000.00 under the appraisal so would it even be worth refinancing, is $5,000 for renovations the most I can get in a refinance?

Try to tackle this project yourself. You will find it to be a rewarding experience and also build sweat equity you can use to remodel another area of your home in the future. Do not be overwhelmed by the scope of the project. Bathroom remodeling can be easier than you think. Tackle the projects you are comfortable with and hire out the rest. Now you have dropped the cost of the project significantly to the point where you will not need a loan. There are help DIY tips at the website listed below. Good Luck.
